Christian Dating Advice

TendernessThe principle of Christian dating is a simple one, but in order to gain the most out of it my christian dating advice is to first take a look at what you want to get out of the experience and answer a few key questions:
1. Are you looking for a friend, a date or a long term companion? One of the first issues that people run into is to do with expectations. If you are not sure what you are looking for then you will put out mixed messages to a potential partner which could give them the wrong impression. Know what you are looking for and you will find it.

2. What values are you looking for in a partner, and most importantly what values are a must have? As a whole the Christian community has a very diverse set of core values. Each of us have key principles that will impact upon any future spouse and are a good starting point for finding someone who is completely compatible.

3. What denomination are you and how committed are you to that denomination? Another important aspect to consider is your churches denomination as some seem to be more compatible than others. Be aware that dating someone from an alternate church can be as similar as dating a non-Christian for some people.

4. What are your physical boundaries? In a similar vein to both values and believes comes the line you draw in your physical boundaries. Is holding hands okay? How about kissing? Please make sure you go into any dating situation knowing your boundaries and this will make you both more comfortable as expectations will be met from the outset.

Follow this christian dating advice and you will be on your way to finding your soulmate.
